Hi all,

I want to make the parameter search form appear in the header of the category browse page with a few conditions:

-IF the last non parent category containing products that are assigned to at least 1 product type, because a product type can describe all products in that category, then show the search form WITH THE PARAMETERS; so in this case product type somehow is the same like the last non parent category;

-IF the last non parent category containing products assigned to more than 1 product type (some users didn't understood this feature and built shops this matter) then in the header of the page=shop.browse will show the links the two/more product types links for advanced search;

-IF the last non parent category containing products that are not assigned to a product type, don't show anything.


Please read this VM tracker. I realy want this modification to be applied for the next VM 1.1.2 release. Anyone has an idea how to do this?

I am sorry, but I knew that you developed product type feature, so I thought you have an idea or a solution for it. So I really need some help, because in my case nobody answers in the VM forum.

Well I am so sorry I don't have money yet to pay someone to do this modification, but if you can help with the code, I will help with test, this could be your first VM 1.1 modification. I know where the code is and how I should handle it, I know what files I have to modify, but I need someone experienced for coding advise, to help me correctly construct the 3 IFs I need for this modification.
