Hello,

I have followed the instructions making the child products and atributes on the tutorial section and when saving the child product (the "item"), the Product Item Attributes check field on the save confirm page is blank!! Huh

And when try to edit the child product (the "item") again, on the attributes tab, at the bottom, the "Item Attributes" row is blank, my attributes are not shown!!

But when I trying to make another new item, on the creating procedure I can see the Item Attributes, and could set the parameters, but when saving, I am getting the same issue..Sad

On the frontend there is the child products, BUT without the attributes!! Sad

I am using VM 1.0.14...and your great mod.

I hope you could help me!

It maybe important, that I am using the ProductType hack too!

? Saving the Child Product (when creating) at the confirmation page the Item Attributes box is empty! On the Mother Product the Product Status tab the last rows with the children products are there, BUT the attributes parameters are empty!

There is no check box on save confirm page.

You create parent and save you edit parent and add attribute then save then create child, you can't create a child without an attribute being created.

The only thing I can think of is that you have not named the attribute, if you haven't it will not work correctly.

I have submited the attributes called "Size"

After I clciked the "New Item" in the Mother product page.

I submit the child product name, sku, price AND the Item Status tab the attribute called "Size" at the bottom of the page. I set its parameter "Large".

As see on the attached image

Then I saved.

And the "Product was successfully saved" page the Item Attributes box is empty!

And when I came back to the Item's detail page, in the "Item Status" tab

The last row is empty, my attributes and its parameter is not shown!



But when I list in the Mother Product it is in its attributes list! And When I try to submit a new Child Item, I can set the parameters but not saved!

I hope I can make it clear...

I have just tested again on VM1.0.14 and I can not reproduce the fault. You seem to be doing the process correctly.

The only advice I can give is to reinstall the mod and make sure that the files are overwritten.

Do you men the Type hack, or the Child hack? I have tried before the child hack with the VM using the Type hack. And it had the same problem..

If you are using my product type hack there shouldn't be a problem. It does not affect the creation of products or shouldn't!

Try reinstalling and remove the product type hack, If it works then there is a problem that I will have to look into, but I do not have any problems!

Dont you know, which file could have the problem???
I mean, I can make the attributes, I can set the parameters while CREATING the child product, but dont save it to the child product..
